This is when the recipe was changed. the colour of the chocolate went from a milky brown (colour of Lindt chocolate) to a deeper conker brown. The chocolate took on a waxy appearance. This is the Cadburys chocolate the UK have eaten ever since. PROOF: I managed to buy some bars of Cadburys chocolate made in Poland without the vegetable fat ingredient used in the UK bars. These bars come wrapped in a gold foil with the standard Dairy Milk paper wrapper. Manifique, like going back 40 years to the real taste of Cadburys.
